Hello
I`m new to this forum so give me some credit please :)

I have a problem with my 2002 fiat doblo cargo van a last deo test show big imbalance on rear brakes ( drums) looks like right brake is much stronger ( both on hand and regular brake) than a left one over 60% diference. I replaced brake shoes but that didn`t hepl does anybody got any idea whats wrong and how to fix it i have retest soon :bang: so I have to act fast thnx a lot for all answars :worship:

ok thnx
but will that comensor effect both hand and main brake
or just main brakes :bang:

I've had similar problems with other cars where there has been a large difference. I solved it by stripping that side completely, take everything off that comes off, have it all apart, clean it all thoroughly, grease what needs to be greased, put it all back together & make sure you thoroughly bleed the system. It's a PITA I know but sometimes that is the best way.
It may be the automatic adjuster isn't doing its job because the rest is gunged up. In any case, a good old clean up won't go amiss.
Did have one car that would fail each year on the rear brakes. Two pieces of metal joined in the middle where they pivot on a metal pin. The pivot point would sieze up during the year. After the second year I stripped the brakes & ran a slightly larger drill bit through the hole & never had a problem after that.
