anyone know a good allround tyre for the doblo , its my first car and i dont want to get stung:confused:

Whats your budget?

You can pay what you want from a budget tyre to brand make.

As a rule same goes for everything in life you only get what you pay for!

I use brigsestones r 410 reinforced LCV tyre been very happy.

Whatever you do though , get a quote from a internet tyre site, (theres loads) print off your qoute and then take it to a local kwick fit for ease.

Got my 410's for £ 46 each kwickfit wanted £72 , showed him the online qoute he said i'll match it minus another £2 so got them done next day.

Did this as local kwickfit 500 yrds away.

On my pickup I used to use remould 8ply, rated to 100mph.
I often carried over a ton, loads of miles on motorways & around town & never had a problem.
I know many who say you should never use remoulds but I have never had a problem with them, even at speed.

Bought 4 for an old mk1 canary yellow fiesta about 20 years ago cost £7 each ran for 12000miles no probs.

But could never recommend them on modern cars. My old fiesta weighed a bit more than a victorian iron penny farthing 135 wide as I remember like "rich tea biscuits"

Remember theres only ever a few inches of rubber between you and the road.

Buy the best ( by everest):D Sorry got the better of me!

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
Had them in this house when I moved in, couple of months later we had a hot summer, went to open the windows & handles started snapping off. We knew the windows were only 5 years old so I contacted everest to see about some new handles - £35 each. I told them the windows were only 5 years old & so were still under their 10 year warranty - NO. As we didn't buy the windows, we didn't have a warranty, it left with the previous owners.
I got oTrading standards involved but they werte neither use nor ornament.
In the end I installed new UPVC myself.
When I took out the old everest I noticed they didn't have the advertised hardwood surround and thewindows were only held into the frame with a few tiny screws so relying on the pins in the quadrant. I took pictures & a sample of the 'hardwood' surround down to TS but still they didn't want to know.

We still get advertising blurb from them offering huge discounts as a "valued customer", I keep writing back telling them my experience of their crappy product - I get no reply.

I've even reported them to Advertising Standards for making false claims in their advert "fit the best" ...hardly.

Sounds about as good as a Fiat 'unlimited mileage warranty'.

just took the spare from out of under the doblo and the size of the tyre is a 195/65/r15 where as the tyres on the doblo are 185/65/r16 am i still ok to use this tyre as a spare or will i have to get it replaced ???(y)

cheers

i know sounds a bit wrong that but i checked a website and some say the 195s and some say 185s since i have just passed driving test and it was 15yrs plus since my stint as a fitter im unsure if you can mix the tyres ???
