Just wanted to say that if you know anyone who's learning to drive I can highly recommend learning in a Doblo. I've just passed my test first time thanks to its huge mirrors and rather forgiving gearbox. Also the height advantage and big windows give you great visibility.

Needless to say I am well chuffed.

I've never thought of a Doblo as a good car to learn in, but now you say it, it makes sense.
Those big mirrors do make it a doddle to park and the upright rear makes it easy to judge your distance at the back.

I knew of a driving school in the 80's that used Skoda Estelles, you know the old rear engined ones. The gearbox on those was like stirring rice pudding. If you passed in one of those you deserved a medal.

I think you mean Fix It Again Tomorrow (and hold onto it for as long as possible). ;)

They are easy to drive and as long as you buy a good one (if you buy second hand) all should be well. New ones are supposed to be ok, besides they come with a warranty, even if it's hard to gt them to do something they are often obliged to and are just trying to be slippery.
