Can anyone help?

I've got a 2002 1.9JTD ELX, and because Fiat want to stitch you up with their service costs I can't afford to let them service it.

I need to do it myself but can't find a manual anywhere for engine specifics such as nut torques, gaps etc.

I have phoned Haynes Manuals and they don't have one, or can give me a date when they will.

Desperate EssexMan!

Ebay, theres someone selling workshop cdroms on there try that. :) hope that helps and let us know what its like servicing wise. oil change and so on.

How do you like the doblo ? love ours.! go's like stink.

What the hell was that! common cry of other road users as the doblo over takes up a hill fully laiden at 90

Cheers mate, I'll have a look there.

First half of service done.

Pain in arse having to take of sump guard before you do anything. 3 13mm bolts, 2 10mm bolts, 4 Phillips screes, and two 8mm nuts.

This was second service, first was at Fiat dealer who managed to round off the inside of the hex in the sump plug, but easy enough to get mole grips on.

Oil filter was ***king nightmare. Some hairy asrsed git in the dealer obviously never expected this engine to have another oil change. Ended up completely demolishing filter to get it off.

Evrything else fairly accessible, but not done pollen or air filter yet, and tappet gaps.

By the way can't get patent air filter or pollen filter. The only thing listed at motor factors is oil filter, and that was 15mm bigger on diameter, but oil seal face exactly same.

Like the Doblo (it is actually the wife's car) I got a Mondeo. Didn't at first but they grow on you, especially when you get employee discount at 15% when you buy new.

I have a couple of original Doblo CD Manuals (not the copies off ebay). £10 each inc P&P. PM me if you are interested

It's likely that the parts are similar to other fiat parts, such as other models with the same engine?

Yo dudes, Ive got the copy of the manual off ebay plus the fiat parts cd, £3 if anyone wants one, just covering the discs and postage, no problem. :slayer:

gough1e,

Could you please quote the link where you have got the manual and fiat parts cd? I have not been able to find them.

If possible, from which edition (Month/Year) were they?

Best regards,

Felipe

PS: Does your Workshop manual CD have an image of a red Doblò on it?
