Hello all, this is my first time with a new thread, so bear with me

Found this article and thought it might be of interest to other viewers , it makes interesting reading. It was reviewed by the Caravan Club last year and got a good write up

see the following link for details

This has been covered before, but........
why not just take out the rear seats and bung a flip flop settee in the back?

Welcome to the forum(y)

The pics referred to are ones of the Doblo, not of your mother. Although, pics of your mother in the said Doblo, would be nice.
:D

I've not been on for a while, but I saw this and...

I have put together a box for the back, cost about £50 for the ply, and I've a couple of roll futons to go on top. You flop the front seats right forwards, fold the rear seats flat and then the boards have two hinges to make a Z shape, they fold forwards and rest on the backs of the rear seats, two loops of cord go round the seatbelt top mounts to support the head end - the bed is long enough for me to lie flat and I'm 6'3". Not yet used in anger as we're still to sell our campervan.

I'll get some pics up one day. It's a very quick and simple camping solution, if you've got a circular saw a power drill and a tape measure you could knock one up in a day.

Checkout the above link for a great camping crate design, ect,.

If it does not load try www.dielectric.de and use a translator, babblefish!.

Tis a heavy chunk of kit to lug around, but it does a good job of storage, sink and stove facilities for hols,
search around the site for further links to alternative setups and also a set of plans(y)

I'm doing a motorhome project to my doblo. It follows on from my crazy (but successfull) project to turn a VW polo into a camper.

http://sprinklekamper.blogspot.com/

It uses a platform to get over problems with that big metal protrusion when you remove the seats. The whole thing is designed to be unbolted, rather than a permanent installation, although obviously not as quick removable as that big box.

I'm loving this thread.

The big box looks very interesting.
I love the translation! :D

For anyone interested,

another motorhome on ebay - not danbury...

TBH, I prefer to chuck in my pop-up tent, a couple of cheapo disposable barbies, a couple of cheapo gas rings, sleeping bag etc.

Here's our take on a DIY Doblo weekend camper that we use for BTCC race weekends.

Nothing fancy, but does the job!
