Just wondering how common these are failure wise?
Noticed ythat my Dobbie was smelling a bit damp- first thought wet clothes from last mountainbike trip, an odd sock somewhere maybe!

Noooo, carpet **** wet thro on both sides, spent an eternity trying to dry it out. Found a couple of small things a grommet no in properly etc.. Thinking water maybe in the fan housing I was watching to see if any came out.... some did, but its green and very very sweet- antifreeze!
The company I bought it off have it booked in for Tuesday, lets jsu hope they agree its a warrenty job.

Pete.

Thanks for the replies fellas! Hopefully (its an 03 plate) the company I bought it from will do it under warranty. Hadn't thought about the carpet and underlay. Will have to see what they say first, dont really fancy taking the dash unit out:mad: Only had the car for just under 2 months and it came with a 3 month warranty....... at least its gone now and not at 3 months and a week!
I'll post further and keep people informed....

Well, an update.

They wouldn't cover it under warranty, even after speaking to the warranty company myself and using some slightly less than eloquent words towards the end of the conversation. Soooo having just shelled out £380 for it to be done am a bit pissed off to say the least. 12 month guarantee on the heater- lets just hope it lasts.

I hope you're right about that!! Now its sorted I just wnat a bit of peacefull motoring.
Fecking wiper linkage packed in as well...... mind you I've seen a few threads on that subject. Was chucking it down when the drivers side one packed in- fortunately only about 300yrds from home. Done a temp repair (crushed the linkage around the ball) and it cant come off now. Gonna buy some rose joints and do a proper job in summer. Good to see Fiat reliabilty as good as ever!;)
Heres' a pic of mine at Penmachno you can just see the forks of one of my bikes in the boot.

those wiper linkages do seem to be a common problem, just waiting for mine to go .
Like those double rear doors. I could/should have had those when I ordered my Doblo, it was only £60 extra. The large tailgate is good when it's raining but the rest of the time it's a pain in the arse as you need so much room behind the car to open it.

Yeah, I had a mare with buying a Dobby. First one, was a finance repo (main dealer) and was told solicitors had the log book- long story short after 3 weeks of waiting I saw my arse and asked for my money back. That one had a tailgate.
Saw this one- newer than the other but a few more miles and with the rear doors you see. Drove it, got them to match the deal from the other palce- same trade in and £500 off the price of the car. Am now glad I got the rear split door one. The car has about 2.5 ft of room at the back in my garage and with a tailgate I couldnt put anything in it, without opening the garage doors- not a problem with these.
Am loving the car again now, was up in the lakes riding last week- beautifull weather- freezing hard! Was really nice to get in the back of the car with a cup of coffee and not worry about bieng covered in crap! Space to get changed into dry clothing and secure bike storage- Brilliant!! There's only one car I can see as my next one, and thats the newer version.
