what oil do the dealers put in the 1.3 multijet diesal engine.need a top up and ive been looking on ebay

Hi I`m sure our fiat dealer uses castrol gtx magnatec, had car serviced three months a go and this is what was listed on the invoice. I think its synthetic oil

With It Not Being Serviced Yet I Wanted To Top Up With The Same As What It Left The Factory Really

why not asked the dealer where you brought it from!

Look in the back of your owners handbook and it'll tell you what oil to use... that'll be the same as it left the factory with.

It's more than likely Selinia (think I've spelt that right)

Just had mine serviced today at a Fiat dealer and they used Selenia 5w40. This is the oil Fiat recommend. Mine is a 1.9 though.

Selenia is the oil for 1.3 but the dealers are switching to magnatec proffesional.Which is a far superior oil. and very costly
