I have covered around 42,000 miles in my doblo now and found it reliable however the build quality of the doors has caused me some concern. Both front door checks have broken and were replaced under warranty which has now expired. Sounds like the passenger door check is about to fail again as it makes a load crack in operation. The 2nd driver door check has faired better but I have noticed the check securing point has now split and is coming away from the inside door frame, this is more worrying as there seems no way of accessing the interior of the door to make a repair. The doblo is a relatively inexpensive vehicle but this sort of problem was not expected on a 04 vehicle, anyone else experienced this.

I had this when we had an 02 Doblo, let the dealer do it as I was worried about damaging the door trim.

I have to say that I am concerned that the door checks & hinges might not be up to the rigors of time. As the door opens, it tends to 'snatch' away & can almost fly out to the end stop.
The hinges don't seem that substantial for the weight of the door (the front doors are huge & quite heavy) & I've often wondered how long it would be before something gives.

My passenger front door makes a clicking noise after a few months and every time I tighten up the bolts that hold on the hinges and all is well. Same happens on the other Doblo that is on the drive here. Wierd but not serious enough for me to doubt build quality. If you think Doblos have tin doors then you should try driving an old Panda!
