I am replacing my two rear tyres after getting a puncture. There is not much tread left so they are not worth repairing.
Which are best P3000 or the L6 tyres & what is the difference between them?

I've always used the P series having P3000's before my P6000's. They are more van derived though and aren't too quiet... good for wear though! Just bear in mind for the rear they have to have a load rating of at least 85 (what the originals were).

They should last ages then - especially if you rotate them when the front tyres get half worn! :)

I've lost 1mm (from 6 down to 5) of tread in 6000miles on the Pirelli P6000's at the front (nothing on the rear), so with rotation they should last for another few years (averaging 15,000 a year).
