Re: Doblo Sporting

Back to the subject of wind noise, having recently done a couple of motorway jaunts, I noticed quite a bit of wind noise - thinking the widow wasn't shut I proceded to investigate.
It seems that the door barely touches the door seal.
Having had this problem on another motor, the garage quickly cured it by winding the window fully down, putting their knee against the door (at the point where the panel meets the window post) and pulling the top corner inwards.
Just tried that on dobbin.
Now, either I'm getting too old and weak to be doing this or the upper part of the door is somewhat stronger on the dobbin than your ordinary car.

Any thoughts on this?
Do I buy something from a DiY store & stick to the door?
Do I take it to the garage & tell them to sort it?
Do I just live with it?

Is this a good idea? Is the door definitely warped or could there be another problem?

Well the top of the door doesn't seem to be squashing the rubber at all and, as I said, last time I had this problem, the garage wound the window down & made the alteration.
Thing is, when you look at the lines the top of the door isn't 'out'.

Maybe if I buy some squishy foam & stick it to the door?
