I have Doblo cargo Y reg.
Back door top catch needed and part of the lock or maybe the whole lock.
The problem is the key turns and you hear the door lock but you can still open it.
It looks like there is a stub of metal that as broken off the outside of barrel which stops you from opening the door.
Do I need the full lock or is it the barrel?

How do you get the part numbers required as I have had a look on ebay for parts.
There were a few parts but you needed to know the numbers.

I am based in Manchester does any one know of a local breakers yard with stock?

i've had this problem. The door catches are quite cheap, about 20.00 from fiat dealer. if the central locking isnt working this is due to a plastic clip broken off rear of door handle. all very easy to fit and cheap to buy.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I also have this problem.

Turn key, lock goes clunk, door still opens.
I know that I don't need a new lock, was just wondering if anyone knows wether I need to order a whole new handle assy. or can I just get the locking bit seperate?

Hi guy's Doblo owner in South Africa. Had the same problem, screw holding the lock inside the door broke off. Stripped back door drilled out old screw/bolt, and fitted new lock tight bolt. Works great now.
