Why are you removing the driveshaft nut anyway? You only need to remove the 3no. 13mm bolts at the strut mount & 2no. 19 or 17mm bolts at the bottom, can't remember what size they are. You can then remove the strut as a complete unit.
The brake discs are 13mm too from memory.

It was actually! I ended up buying it Couln't find a Croma for 10 years and then buy 2 in 4 weeks

Got all the parts I need now and MANY more so if anyone else needs some bits let me know!

Hi Davren - hope you are well.

The part I am trying to track down is an oval retaining cover/bracket that the gearstick goes through on manual 154 models - as per the photo below and also highlighted as no.16 in the eper diagram on the right.



The part number originally appears to have been 60801444 then superseded by 82399354 before it disappeared off of the shelves....

Thanks Davren - yes seen that and like many others I have visited all accompanied by the now familiar "Articolo Non Disponibile"

Hence why asking anyone who has broken such a car and/or has such a used part.

Unfortunately, it looks like Evantotis93's email link is broken so unless he signs in I guess I wont get to know if he had the elusive part or not.

I have also put this in the Croma wanted parts section - nothing ventured and all that..

Yes, I have thought about doing that with a metal spacer - will keep that in mind but would prefer to use an original if one comes to light.
