Does anyone know of a source for Mk2 facelift fog / driving lights?

There was a combination lamp, in the lower valance, that was split between fog, and an additional main-beam light. It was two separate lamps & reflectors in one unit.

Any ideas..?

Well on the parts list for Croma 2005-2010 they show:

Round fog light for Models: V1,V2,V3,V4 (Classic, Active, Dynamic, Emotion)
Elongated fog lamp for Models: V8,V9,V10,V11 (Classic FL, Active FL, Dynamic FL, Emotion FL

For the FL version the P/Ns are 51775551 RH and 5177550 LH

Both these are showing only the one H11 55W bulb in the assembly.

Are you sure you remember it correctly?

Thanks for that s130.

Yup- I'll never forget it; however; when I say 'Mk2' I didn't mean the latest gen of Croma.

I meant the face lifted Mk1- my apologies.

Mine was a '91 J-plate. I'll try and dig out an image.

Okay, Ive found a couple of images of the front of a facelift example, which show the lower lights. I think you can just about make out different types of reflectors, within the same unit.
One pair was fog-lights, and the other came on with main-beam...

I've been all through the ePER Croma MkI pre and post facelift parts info and can only see fog lamps with just the one bulb.

One of the pictures you showed is of a Tempra radiator grille????

If you can supply a full VIN or Model No. and Chassis No. (by PM if you want) then we should be able to located the correct part numbers. I would not be the first time Fiat have introduced a different part to a vehicle but failed to update the graphics/pictures and stuff like bulb count.

Think I've found it:

https://www.proxyparts.com/car-parts-stock/information/make/fiat/model/croma/part/fog-light-front-right/partid/2121330/

Fiat P/N: 82452699 RH
Fiat P/N: 82452700 LH

And as I suspected the ePER parts slides show in the images and listings that this lamp only has the one bulb. So Fiat did not update the ePER slides/graphics to match the new fog/driving lamp combo.

I DO NOT believe it!

That is incredible

THANKYOU s130- I could never have found that. on eBay too!

Much appreciated!!!! Thankyou for your efforts.

do you think there is a left /right hand drive orientation to fog lights?

You are welcome.

As for orientation to the fog light beams I don't think so. Fogs are normally a low flat beam pattern so I don't see why these would be any different. Driving lamps don't normally have a beam bias other than full on straight ahead, here I come illumination.

Also the parts slides just list a L/H unit and R/H unit with no country SN / DX (Left Hand Drive [Sinestra] / Right Hand Drive [Destra]) qualification. The only country qualification is for France where the fogs are yellow.

Must admit this has been one of the more challenging parts query I've had to investigate. Due to Fiat's lack of updating the slide graphics and bulb count I spent quite some time on trying to unravel the mystery and prove that you were not losing your marbles :)

well, I knew I wasn't losing my marbles; I just thought the chances of actual success were fairly slim.

I very much appreciate the effort you've made however, all other lines of enquiry had drawn a total blank. Thankyou.

Thanks for that explanation of beam pattern and Italian LHD / RHD abbreviation nomenclature. I've seen that made reference to a lot in workshop manuals but had yet to actually work it out definitively.

Beam pattern 'indifference' means that units sourced from Europe will be perfect. I've got an enquiry in with the Proxy Parts place, initially.

Something i did not do for you was to check if Fiat still list the parts as available.

I have the last ePER: DVD Rel.84 | Pricelist effective 01.06.2014 | Catalogue date 20.05.2014 | on CD/DVD before Fiat went Key/ePER and online web only.

Sadly I have to tell you that in 2014 Fiat said: "Product out of production. No replacements available". Typical Fiat!!!!!!!!

So you are back to web searching. If Fiat did have the items then a mortgage might be required!

Thank you, s130-
(That's a lovely 130 TC, you've got there, by the way)

Well legally/technically it is my wife's car but is "our car". She does all the body/paint/polishing etc. and I a do all the mechanical stuff. We are fortunate enough to have owned the car from new in January 1988.

As with many older Fiats parts are a real problem and *if* you can find something then the price is often a problem.
