any ideas where i might be able to pick up an electronic speedo sender unit for a croma geaer box?

Are you certain it's the speedo sender? 'cause I had a not-working speedo in my Croma, and once I'd resoldered a few joints on the back of the speedo, it sprang into life.

Try Maurice Thomson Motors over here in NZ, 07 871 7311. You will of course have to dial the country code... so I think you will dial 00 11 64 7 871 7311. And remember the timezone difference.
