Travelling yesterday and the windscreen washer suddenly stopped working. When I stopped to check it I couldn't hear the pump. I thought it was probably the fuse, but when I was able to look at that today it was fine.
And, what's more, the washer was working again. I then took the opportunity to adjust the aim of the washer (although I only seemed to be able to switch it between hitting the wiper blades or flying over the roof!). After a number of test squirts though, it stopped working again.
Any thoughts on what might be the cause?
