Hi,
This is a Fiat specific fault code and I can't find a reliable listing for it. I use Multiecuscan so don't need code lists. A litte more information would help:
1/ what engine and gearbox does your Croma have?
2/ What problem are you trying fix?
I thought I had a unique/specific list but P1718 came up as:
P1718=Tensione sensore temperatura olio cambio troppo alta, ma nei limiti previsti
P1718 = Transmission oil temperature sensor voltage too high, but within the foreseen limits
But this does not seem relevant.
Not sure where we go from here other than making an MES connection diagnostic.
I say MES but others like Snap-On etc. full systems that support manufacturer error codes BY model may/will be required to correctly decode any Xyyyy number.

Hi,
I'd suggest you look at the wheel speed sensors on the hubs. Start with the passenger side front. Check for damaged cables and corrosion on connectors.
Sensors are built into hubs so a bit of a pain to do, complete hub and bearing assembly required.
