I have the 2,2 l petrol Croma, and I find it difficult to locate the fuel filter (both physically and online). I have looked under the car when it was on a lift, searched in the eManual and in the regular owners manual, searched this forum, googled (even in italian), etc but I just can´t seem to find out:

Where exactly is the gasoline filter located?? Not in the gas tank I hope! Would be nice if it was a DIY job to change it out. :)

Many these days are in the tank, and are supposed to be in there for life, no service interval.

Just looked at the parts listings, appears to be a complete pump tank level unit and filter, all in one, like most these days.

Unless you have fuel supply problems, stop worrying.

Thank you for this info about no service interval, that was news for me. The fuel filter is not mentioned in the maintenance schedule for this car, so I guess you could be right.

However, I have hade fuel supply problems, or rather, one of my injectors failed (leaking, might have been stuck open by debris in fuel system), I have since changed them out which solved the problem. So I thought that changing out the filter aswell might be a good preventative strategy.

But since the filter does indeed seem to be integrated into the tank maybe I should give it a rest, too much hassle probably.
