Halloo. First sorry for my bad English.
I have a big problem with my croma 2006 150ks. About six monts ago my ps went of, i havev clean conectors and everything was fine still three days ago. PS went off and red light on. i cant do diagnostic on diagnostic pc witch cant read any errors. The power steering only work on cold start for 10 sec. only when i start car after some hours ,than it works for 10-15 sec. Can anywone help me whit this

you may need the upgraded loom, not upto date on current price it used to be 50 gbp

My english is not so good. Can you explain me what do i must to upgrade? After i start car steering work for 15 sec after that red lamps go on and there is some sound like thud (knocking) somewhere in motor section for some sec and than that sound go off

I can not read any error because my diagnostic tools cannot communicate with the steering unit .

What Diagnostic tools do you have?

Check the Electrical connector on the power steering pump unit. Bad connections are common. Search this (Croma) forum for power sterring, there is a lot of information.

There are replacement looms available.

Note that while the Vectra C pump is physically identical, the firmware is different and it won't work on a Croma.

croma is going now to mechanic. I hope that pump is ok, because here in SRB pump is too expensive.

Hopefully it's the wiring loom not the pump.

I got my replacement PS wiring loom from a vectra c and it works fine. It cost me about gbp15 delivered and wasn't that hard to fit once I'd got the old one off.
