Hi folks maybe a bit of useless information but this week the 2.4 lost all its bottom end power.Its happened once before so i thought i,d look in the same place again.sure enough the same problem.The vacuum pipe to the turbocharger vgt actuator had chaffed through on the turbocharger oil return pipe.New piece of pipe and sorted again.One to watch out for.Happy xmas everyone.

Hi buster, is that the pipe that goes into the vac out at the front of the engine?

Mine perished a few years ago and I taped it up with self amalgamating tape which did the job. I'd like to change the pipe but I've no idea where to get one or even what it is called.

Wrong way around but to make it easier,it comes off the turbocharger actuator to a steel pipe and then to a vacuum switch at the side of the radiator.Ive got plenty of pipe you can have foc Brian.
