Technical Any way to silence door unlocking/locking sound?

Hi, I'm trying in vain to stop my Croma beeping when its locked or unlocked with with the key fob. I live on a really quite street and have early starts and the noise is really annoying my neighbour.

Looking at the manual it doesn't seem to be an option. Is there any way to disable it? Any feedback appreciated.

it is drastic but you can stop that noise by unplugging the siren under the front off side wing. Just take the wheel off the unit is at the rear of wheel arch behind the arch liner. The alarm will not sound and the dash will say alarm unavailable and it will stop that noise.

Thanks Telegraph, as you say it is quite drastic and I would of course loose the alarm. I'll see how things go and may have to go there in time. I can't believe there isn't a simple on/off for this on the dashboard menu options. In the middle of the night on a narrow street its like an alarm clock going off and I cringe every time!

There may be an option via the OBD port using Examiner (fiat dealer) or Multiecuscan / AlfaOBD (DIY). Do you have OBD software? or ask a Fiat dealer IF they can do it. Don't pay them to "try". Where are you located? If you can get to Cambridge I could use my Multiecuscan.

I had a look on Multiecuscan. There is an option to stop the indicators flashing with alarm setting but I can't see anything on the horn.
