General New Croma

I've just bought a Croma 150 BHP JTD Eleganza ex-demo for less than half new price, fantastic value. No other mainstream rivals depreciate this quickly, so lots of bargains out there.

I agree with much of what others have said

Good
A lot of room, especially at the back, no transmission tunnel
Car is high so driver has good view
V comfortable seats
good handling for a large car
good acceleration for a diesel, excellent economy, 6 gears on diesel
large sunroof (if fitted) makes interior lovely & light on grey winter days
Loads of goodies e.g. cruise control, seat adjustment, dual zone climate, steering wheel controls, reversing sensors, storage box with aircon
Large boot - 500 litres
lots of powerful interior lights - good for kids

Bad
location of the handbrake is awful (you do get used to it)
no seat belt height adjustment - but I've not found it a prob
rear seats don't fold down all the way - they fold most of the way down
interior glass mists up quickly

Medium
velour trim has a bit of 1970s fell
some driver controls a bit lower quality than rivals
stereo could be better

I'm finding people like the looks very much, it's distinctive & stands out compared to all usual Fords VWs Vauxhalls etc
