Hi all.
My happy ownership of 2006 Prestigio 150 mjet is coming to an end.
On Thursday I'm collecting 2011 BMW 525d 3.0.

Had my Croma for 7,5 years. Mostly trouble free. I know I must have been lucky.
It has let me down twice - when front spring snapped and alternator failed but otherwise I had no big issues.
Most expensive was intake manifold replacement that I did myself.
Nothing happened over last 2 years.

The Croma is going to my cousin now at px value (next to nothing).

So Good Luck to all of You and I wish that You have the same experience with this car as I did (or better)(y)

Sad to see it go but it's time to move on. I would definitely buy another Fiat if it had something sensible on offer. You can't beat it in value for money.

Nice to read good post about Croma, I got mine 1.9 8v just over a month ago and looking forward to use it for 3-5 trouble free years, so I hope. I am amazed by the comfort and space for passengers, little bit disappointed with boot space (I mean after folding passenger's seats down, shame you can't level folded seats with a boot floor). I enjoy Fiat's Multijet engine, heavy Croma pulls away nicely with just enough power in their engines.
Good luck with your BMW now, hope it will be reliable.

Well thanks for your support and yes there is a distinct lack of larger Fiats in range. Not seen a 500X in the flesh yet but I suspect it will never be Croma, Stilo Multiwagon/Estate, Tempra (saloon and estate) etc.

I have just had a look at the 500x promotional stuff and it might be for us a good replacement for our Croma. We no longer need a large car and have been taking a shine to a vaux Mokka type car however you would have to be brave as usual with a Fiat it will suffer huge depreciation and as I am thrifty I will wait.

Mine is gone as well. I gave it to my son as its big enough to keep dogs and new baby apart|
I am now the very happy owner of a Sept 2011 XF 200ps. not as roomy but it handles wonderfully. Not leaving the Forum though; I have been appointed Therapist in Residence to my son's Croma stewardship.
Thanks for all your help over the last 7 (mostly happy) years.
