A few weeks back, a not so common (Croma 1.9 16V Dynamic 2008) problem showed up. After starting the navigation the message "no gps signal available" appeared.
What I have done so far (not much:))
Disconnected battery for several hours
Cleaned connection of radio antenna, radio was and is OK
Take out fuse 51
Formatted usb stick (fat 32), music on the same stick plays well
Made a usb stick without music, only navigation
I suppose its a broken or bad connection somewhere
Don't know where the signal enters the car, antenna or straight into the gps instrument
I would appreciate your thoughts and or suggestions

Thanks in advance

Problem is solved now, dealer replaced antenna mounting p/n 51819861. Lot of work for reason that roof lining or trim has to be removed. Radio is much improved, radio sounded OK but probably because I was used to the low audio quality.

By "bracket" I assume you mean the base of the antenna. The GPS antenna (a ceramic patch) is in this part along with an amplifier. The "whip" part is the radio antenna.

That´s exactly what I mean by bracket, the foot or base of the antenna, and with antenna I meant the removable stick on top of the base. Thanks
