yes your right it was mine, remap was done by alfatune ie gus lambro on rolling road it did show 277 bhp evrything works on it as well thats a bunus with these. new brakes all round just before christmas sunroof a bit slow. it dose have few clonks and rattles from the suspension. untill sold i only ever used selnia oil never used a drop in between. for me it was time for it to go. along with my john cooper works countryman i know own a gen 1 john cooper works cooper s as a toy to have some fun, but i will miss the croma great car.

Actually, this might be John Coopers old one - which if it is means from memory that it should have uprated suspension and also DPF/EGR delete and remap

:rumour:

Nice looking car but wouldn't the dpf/egr work make it an MOT fail now or does that only apply to newer cars?

Had my first mot done after dpf removal/ delete remap and egr delete done last week and passed emissions ok, had dpf internals removed leaving original dpf pipe on. Passed mot test, wish I had done this 3 years ago, the car is so much better now. Had it done by Demon Performance in Crewe using a quantum performance remap, approx. 180 bhp now. Highly recommended.

Hi, my remap is quoted as being 240 bhp. I've gutted the DPF and got a modified air box, but not managed to find a rolling road that can test it, because it's auto.
What else have you done to get that much extra out of it? I know the Alfa's can run 300+ but that involves bigger turbo etc.

P.S. Mine has just flown through it's second MOT since the DPF/EGR delete.
