can anyone give me an idea where to look for the valve imput for regassing the aircon unit ? i have the kit to do the job, but maybe it's me being a bit thick, coz cannot spot the valve connection. anyone help?

According to my training manual schematic it is in the line between the output from the condenser to the compressor. Hope this helps.
Apparently it has a dustcover similar to a tyre valve .

most (not all but most) aircon systems work around the engine bay in a clockwise direction, so, that said find the compressor and follow the pipe work backwards towards the passenger side of the car the low pressure side of the system and its filling valve is usually between the compressor and the receiver/dryer

the hot/high pressure side would be between the compressor and the condenser so as suggested above this would be the wrong valve.

the valves are different sizes in any case so you can't put the wrong clamp on the wrong side.

are you using a full regas machine or an motor factors £40 refill kit
