Not sure about service history, but regardless of low mileage belts and ancillaries should have all been done by now.... and defo for that price..

Regardless of mileage, it's still a 6-7 year old lump of steel that's been sat about in the british climate. I'd bet it's rotting as fast as mine is, e.g. exhaust heat shield bolts, bumper/wheelarch liner screws, wheel hubs etc etc etc. Nothing structural put a right expensive pain to sort out. Some damage might be worse from it not being used.

£5k though?! Don't be so daft. Mine was £6k when it was 2.5 years old, 4 years ago. Mine's a 1.9 Prestigio, but it seems to me that the 1.9 and 2.4 are worth about the same - the fuel economy and speed/luxury seem to balance each other out.
