I've been struggling with an ABS fault for the past few months. With help from this forum, I was at least able to get reasonably priced hubs to attempt the cure the fault(s) indicated by the code reader. However, after some trial and error fitting new hubs and then testing the car unplugging speed sensors from each wheel in turn, I have now come to the conclusion that I have either a wiring fault or a fault in the ECU. Can anyone point me at a wiring diagram, or perhaps provide me with a copy or even provide details of the pin out of the ABS plug into the ECU. We're talking 2005 1.9 8v Diesel Dynamic..

Very many thanks in advance.. I'm beginning to go :bang:

Have you tried the 'Downloads' section at the top of the forum? There are manuals on there to refer to. It's on the home page then follow the link in the Members area title bar

Hi Bobby - thanks for the reply. I've had a look at the downloads, as you suggested, but I don't see a wiring diagram there - have I missed the obvious?

cheers

Just uploaded the Croma eLEARN workshop manual with wiring diagrams to the forum downloads section here:

https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=19

You need to download all 8 parts to the same folder, then point WinRar at part 1. This will unzip all 8 parts to a file named "Croma eLEARN.iso". Burn the iso to a CD using Nero or IngBurn or whatever burning software you have, then install the eLEARN interface from the disc. This will create the eLEARN icon on the desktop to run the program from. The CD must be in the drive when using the manual.

Davren - many thanks - your help is really appreciated. That must have taken you quite some time to do. I've done the unzip and copied all the files to a CD, so I have a series of files on the CD like img, pdf, svg etc in a folder called Croma eLearn.iso. There are two files, ex_setup.exe and setup.exe, I've tried both, they both seem to extract all the files and put an icon on the desktop, as you suggested, but when I click on the icon, it asks me to insert the CD with the data. I've tried all sorts of ways, but I can't seem to get it to recognise the CD. Any ideas what I have done wrong?

You don't copy the individual files to the disc, and they shouldn't be in a folder named "Croma eLEARN.iso" once burnt to disc, I think you've burnt the disc incorrectly.

Once you've unzipped the RARs, you should have a file named "Croma eLEARN.iso" which is a CD image file. Just double click on that file and Nero or IngBurn or whatever burning software you have associated with .iso files should automatically create the disc with it's own file structure.

Uninstall the eLEARN interface you've already installed, then install the new disc using Autorun or the "setup.exe" file from the new disc.

"setup.exe" only installs the eLEARN interface and the desktop icon. All the data files remain on the disc, so must be in the drive whenever you start, and while using the program.

If the diagrams from the manual don't show once you have it working, install the SVG viewer found on the disc. There may be an option to install this during the interface installation process.

Davren - spot on. I realised this this morning, whilst away from my PC that I had got a 'CD image' within a CD. I've now used CDBurnerXP within windows 7 to open the Croma eLearn.iso file and burn the image to disc. When I then re-opened the burnt CD, it picked up the setup.exe file automatically and did the install. I've now seen all the info I need to hopefully troubleshoot my ABS problem. Thanks once again - that's a huge contribution you have made by supplying that. I am in your debt...

Just so you know, 20 pence worth of wire solved my ABS problem - having spent considerably more on changing hubs as a first attempt at solving the problem. I would also say that it simply would have not been possible to cure this without the wiring information that I was able to get from the e-Learn CD that Davren put up. Once again, my thanks go to you for doing that. Maybe I can get to the bottom of the intermittent parking sensor fault now....
