6 years old and 50K and I've found rust - albeit behind the boot release when I took it off to repair it, but there it was underneath the paint; insidiously creeping up the boot lid.

I've treated it now to stop any further damage, but had I not found it I could have been facing a respray job on the boot before I knew it.
