I don't think "intake air quantity signal period" is the right parameter to select. Try the intake air quantity instead.

Weird that FiatECUscan shows the EGR as pulsing every 4 secs or so while open.

Looks good to me mate (if you even out the squiggles). MAF reading is dropping and returning correctly when the EGR is open then closed.
