Re: Reg ST56 SOE

That price sounds spot-on to me. Well done, you've got a cracker there.

Mine is also a 56-reg Prestigio 150, and was £6k almost exactly 2 years ago. At the time, it still had 6 months of the original warranty remaining, so that was a big plus.

So £1500/year depreciation then. That's not bad for any car, especially considering the previous owner lost £5800/year (if he paid list price).

Have you dared to try opening and shutting the sunroof yet? The emergency cranking handle is inside the rear interior light - check it's there before you try it. The manual says it's in the glovebox, but there's an errata sheet to correct it. It's like an allen key. When I buggered about with mine I inadvertently taught it that it was closed when it wasn't, and couldn't do anything with it after that. Mine had full surgery with a new mechanism under the warranty.

How about £50 depreciation over a year and 10k miles? :D Miss it though......

I like the second one - a bit blingy in places, but very smart. But it was done with an almost unlimited budget.

I actually like the "Lexars" lights on that one (unusually), but they are fully LED ones which would cost more than my car's worth.

Re: Reg ST56 SOE

Now, apart from the steering wheel, I like the Italiaspeed one, although the centre console in the back might get in the way on return trips from IKEA.

I wonder which lucky B is driving that now?

BTW, Does the girl come with it too?

Re: Reg ST56 SOE

my sun roof is sealed up between back an front with silicon sealer and looks like a wire with an eye conector is disconected from motor :(

Not that big a deal I suppose, as I don't risk opening mine (other than the first notch, which just lifts the back edge).

Does the motorised blind over the front work OK though?

Did you include a stamp?

Perhaps he might think you're going to hold him responsible for every fault, so is ignoring you.

I rang the man sounded nice enough, but spoke really quiet.

says it had new gearbox about 2k miles before he sold it. so thats saved me one job of changing gearbox fluid :slayer:

says had all new wheel bearings because of a noise that turned out to be from naff tyres, so it got new bearings for no reason.

says sun roof is sealed shut because it lifted up and whistled at speed i think he said some clip was missing , he thinks there may be one motor missing as he swapped them over so blind opened or something, couldn't quite hear him very well:confused:

not been remapped, he hadn't had cam belt done in the time he had it so i was probably wise doing that when i did last year.

he thought the strange noise i some times get from engine was waste gate too, but people ive taken for a spin reckon its not waste gate noise.

reason for sale was after spending out on the new gearbox, bearings got a bit fed up with it and his mrs wanted a 500 so they pxed it for one.

Ive told him how active our 500 section is so he might sign up.
