Interesting. Is there any way to check how much it goes for?

I thought about changing my 56 plate 8v Eleganza with nearly 70k on it recently (well the current alternator's done nearly 25k so based on previous experience it should fail soon) and the dealer offered me £1500 as a trade in. Not much demand for them apparently.

I don't think anyone from BCA will advise that - never have for me.
Obviously they want buyers to attend.
Now & again one comes up on the BCA listings.
You have to register to use their website [Search] function.

On the other-hand - if it doesn't sell, they're usually open to negotiate a deal ... saves the seller re-entering the car.

trouble with car auctions is there be dealers with little books that say croma is worth way more than we know they sell for, so dealer ends up bidding way over the top

I don’t know BCA Bedford – but if it’s a two hall set-up like BCA Nottm then it’s arguable if a 7yo Croma would be presented in Hall 1 among the higher tier dealers. Maybe more chance of it going thro Hall 2 with the Arfur Daley plot types & the road verge cowboy `dealer?’ fringe. I don’t think a Hall 1 dealer would consider they’d be enough margin in a Croma to be of interest.

The closest I’ve seen to a Croma recently in Hall 1 was HG08 JPU (JLY08) Saab 9-3 1.9/120 AirFlow (89Kmls) that went for £4.2K (+TFCs).

EJ55 TZA is in a batch of 20 vehicles entered by The Motorhouse - maybe they'll be able to provide some history on it.
