Re: EOBD plug position

It's behind the cubby hole on the dashboard where your right knee is. You have to remove a philips screw to get the cover off.

Up to top RHS of fuse box. Partly hidden by the two large cables.

Re: EOBD plug position

The two thick cables 'hid' the plug when I first looked!

Re: EOBD plug position

Pleased you found them.

Can I ask what device / software you are planning to plug into/use on the Croma?

Re: EOBD plug position

I've bought a U581 reader, so hopefully this will work. All the reaqders / scanners say they work on Fiats etc, so I'll give it a try.

I'll let you know how I get on.

This is the old original version of the Croma 1992 and in does not have an EOBD socket.

Connections to the Engine ECU and ABS system, etc. are via Fiat 3-Pin connector interface.

MultiECUScan support the Croma 92 but only the Engine and ABS ECUs. You will also need the 3-Pin adapter cable.
Thanks g8rpi thanked for this post

Note that you need the KL / VAG-Comm to USB interface (and 3 pin adaptor) for the 92 Croma. The newer ELM-327 interfaces won't work.
