i have a fiat croma 2000 i.e with petrol engine (year 1992), but when i bought it (used), i didnt get a manual. is there any chance to download one?

Welcome to FiatForum. This section is for new Croma owners, but someone may be able to help. The old Croma is still on ePer parts list. I had Thema turbos for 8 years and 130000 miles.

I have the original owner's manual and workshop manual for the Mk 1 Croma but I think yours is a Mk 2. They are similar, if there's anything particular you need, I can scan a few pages for you.

I need electronics diagrams. My speedometer working with errors, and often it's 'frozen'. I use LPG, and need to know when to refuel.

There's a lot of pages to the wiring diagrams, would take me ages to scan them all and they won't help you with a speedometer problem. I'm in the process of scanning the whole manual so I can host it on RapidShare, but it won't be finished for a few months.

If the car is left hand drive, the speedometer is operated by a traditional cable and doesn't involve any electronics.

If it's right hand drive, it's operated by an electronic pulse generator with 2 wires on top of the gearbox. They suffer from water ingress but can be dried out if you can get it open and back together again. I used to cut the metal securing band off, dry it out and reassemble it with large bore adhesive lined heat-shrink tube.

Could be a wiring problem but gearbox sender unit failure (either full or intermittent) is not unusual for any Fiat of that era.

I've change about 3 or 4 on our cars over the years.
