Hi all

does anyone know if it is possible to get the longitudinal roof rails as an after thought?

I have not been to a dealer to ask yet but will try and make time tomorrow, just thought I would post here first.

regards
Nick

Mine where factory fit, but seen a new set on ebay for £150.00. There is another issue with roof rails. I was informed by a dealer that if you have roof rails fitted as a after thought, you can only carry 50% of the safe working load on them, where as if a Croma is fitted with them at the factory the roof is further strengthened to allow 100% load bearing weight. This applied to the Fiat Marea, Fiat Stilo Multiwagon, Fiat Multipla and the Alfa 156 Sportwagon.

Well good news and bad news,

Good
you can still order them from the dealer.

Bad
the cost including all the fittings and VAT.. wait for it..... £527

each rail is £167 plus vat then there is all the other fittings...

Not many Croma's in the Scrappie Yet?? 10 years time there may be 1250 of all the ones sold in the UK

That would not be easy!! It will drive you

Unless you buy a cat D or C damaged one that come up on ebay every now and again and just offer some cash for the roof rails if they are fitted. :yum:
