So, what you use your Croma for? How's your experiences so far?

Bought a 2005 2.4JTD with 14000 miles on just over a week ago, and have done over 800 miles since. First impressions are good - very comfortable seats, well built interior, good engine refinement. The only downside I have found is the ride quality - with the 18" wheels and 45 profile tyres there is a degree of tramlining and a slightly fidgety feel on less than ideal surfaces. Fuel economy is fair for a big, heavy automatic car, about 460 miles to a tank.

Overall I'm very pleased - especially at the price - and hope to keep the car for a long time. The rear tyres will need changing soon, so I will take the advice of others on the forum and get the rear tracking checked while I'm at it. The car has had all the recalls carried out but given the level of competence shown by garage mechanics in my experience I believe it's worth getting a second opinion on the tracking...!

But why did they not catch on in the UK?
