Technical boost pressure loss

just got in from a drive, was fantastic until...

sat idling for ages, then took off and couldnt achieve anything above 6 (psi?) boost and a dramatic decrease in acceleration above 2k revs

it felt like the turbo was doing its job but that it just wasnt getting the exhaust gas properly... like it just had nothing to do

anyone got any ideas?

boost pressure valve has stuck open or ebv for short ive got the same problem with mine but mine variates and overboosts aswell the about 77.95 from fiat

it would appear the problem was it'd overheated while idling as i left it to cool and now its fine

i think you might be right though, does anyone have a URL to buy this online?

Lol - if you spend £80 on an EBV from Fiat you need your head examined. either ask for one on fccuk or buy a PRV instead.
