i have i 16 valve turbo p reg probleam is in the mornings cold start and cold running is a nightmare it fils like you need to pull out the choke when its warm its fine i need some help please andy.

hello dave,iv changed today my cold start temp sensor,cleaded out idle control valve and replaced the plugs havent do cold start yet iwill let you know thanks for your help. i love my coupe i love my coupe.

</h6></font id="black">Hi John, do not despair. I'd bet my hat your problem is either:
1) Coolant temperature sensor (not to be confused with the sensor for the temp gauge). If you have already changed that then I guess it can be eliminated.
2) Clogged idle control valve. I know you said you already cleaned it but did you take it apart and clean all the inards?

...don't worry about adding the oil trap - it's a nice mod but not critical.
3) MAP sensor tube blocked.

This is responsible for over 90% of 16VT idle and running problems. Also make sure your MAP sensor tube is not split as they tend to degrade after a few years.

Fiat Coupe 20VT, Bailey DV, K&N panel, PBV @ 1.1bar.

yipee cold start sensor worked,cold start good know still sometimes ned to crank it over twice to start wont start first time.then some times its fine starts first time.any idears.thanks for your help.andy.
