When I turn on the headlights on my 95' 16v Turbo the headlights tend to do a dance, and take ages to settle on the correct level. They independantly go up and down several times, before come to a stop!!

Does anyone know why??? Or how I can rectify it???

Do you mean the light beam to move up and down or its intensity[8)][?]

The beams on the coupe are of course electrically adjustable and they have known to go dicky now and then. The problem is nearly always with the electrical connectors on the underaide of the headlight units. Take them off and give them a good spray with WD40, then push them in and out of the sockets a few times to clean the contacts.

If that doesn't fix it then it must be a contol problem which may be a little more difficult to trace.

Took the motor assembly out, and cleaned all the contacts,
worked a treet, all sorted...
