hi guys, :bang: now changed my dump valve to a bailey dv26 the 1 every1 has but still no sound dam it whats up????

perhaps you should desribe how you fitted it. you did block the pipe from the original recirculating one?

edit:you may have more power but i have a psst dump valve

Maybe you have a recirculating one so you wont get the noise.

is it new or used? am told bailey dv leak, dunno if it true or not

its used but i know it works its off mates coop,i ve blanked off the hole which comes off the turbo which i think is right and put the valve on the intercooler pipe just like i ve seen done,n its not re circleating valve either !! its driving me mad

can i ask why you fitted it? unless the engine is modded with hybrid turbo,the dump valve will not alter the power one jot.all it does or in you case does not is bleed air of the turbo to make a whoosh noise.waste of money.and no,it does not protect the turbo from back pressure.

Yep you do like the psssssssssst sound! you gotta get that sorted mate. Haha, you stuck that ff sticker on the coup yet?

Have you attached the vacuum hose to the top of the DV? Have you followed the vacuum hose to check it's connected? Have you compared your DV setup to pics of a correctly fitted one?

Oh as for replacing the DV with an aftermarket one, It's a wise move as the plastic bosch one has been known to develop a split diaphragm and lose boost. However you do sometimes get a "moo" sound under boost.
