Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone out there can help
I bought a 98 20v non turbo last year with a blown engine (engine already removed so i've been trying to work out reassembly), i've finally got the new lump in but i've got a problem with the alternator mounting,
I can get the main pivot bolt through but i can't work out how the top securing lug should be secured,
i ordered the bracket that it shows in the eper parts catalogue but i can't see how it attaches !!!!
It has the air con compressor just above so theres not a lot of movement,
If possible would someone be able to supply me with a photo of the aternator mounted so i can see what it should look like secured in place,

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated,

Can't say this is something I've done myself, but this might help.
It involves removing the air-con compressor. In a word - ouch!
