General a big cheer for

So far, since the coop last turned a wheel under its own power, I've spent:
Manifold - £270
Oil cooler & pipes - £220
Brakes - £150 (though currently on loan ;) )
Hybrid turbo - £370
Spare turbo - £100 (always handy to have a spare ;) )
Door - £50
Tracker - £100

Still need:
Recovery to get it to Birmingham - £80
Labour - Probably about £300
MOT - £40
Tax - £165
Insurance - About £500

So about £1260 spent so far, and about another £1085 to spend...

It was actually August last year it failed its MOT. The reason it's taken so far to get to this point is that I've bought a house in the mean time! (y) There's only so much spending I can do... :D

Trust me, they will make you feel guilty about it if you don't. I had to suffer this last year after Skeggy and mine weren't that bad :(. Think I'll take no chances and get them chainged a bit sooner this time :)

H, your car repairs make mine look positively cheap :D

Can't wait till you get back on the road fella, maybe more posts in the coupe spotting section (y) That's a sh*t load of money to spend on a car, I would have to sell up. That's commitment fella !

I went to look at mine today in the garage, new wishbones fitted along with the eibach's. It didn't look any lower  I guess the boy racer in me expected it to be lower than a snake's belly. Still, it doesn't look like a 4x4 now at least.

Wonder what the bill will be this time?

Yes, from when they installed them about 3 years ago!

Talk about commitment, I forgot the skirts, at £50, and more locking wheel nuts, £20.
In the 18 months before it broke, it had the cambelt change (about £500 with a service I think), front suspension rebuild (about £200), and a new exhaust (£350) and decat (£90). Plus the routine stuff, like 6 tyres (£500) and about 20 litres of oil (£150).
All prices estimated to save my sanity (y)
Also surprising how many people obviously browse the coop section.... wonder if they'll see any subliminal messages in this post....?
