Hi al,

l in need of a FMIC after xmas anyone selling 1 let me no or where i can pick up a FMIC cheap!!

I am going to upgrage my engine to around 300 Bhp:devil::devil:

I have already Hybrid turbo,Exhaust,Air Filter ;);)

Oh and i will have a spare turbo once i get my hybrid fitted :):)

What's widely regarded as the best is the Pro alloy one. JBT is selling one on the fccuk forum, have a look in Coupé parts. He wants £350 for it. Otherwise Turborevs is meant to be pretty good, but you it's a universal one so there's a bit more work involved, whereas the Pro alloy is specially for the coupé and easy fitment.

My turbo revs one is fine and if you are on a budget it may be the way to go. here is mine fitted.

Big isn't it! they sit low, don't they? Is it relatively straight forward to fit a FMIC? I'm going to give mine a shot when it arrives next week. Can't be that difficult (touch wood!)

Are you fitting the turbo revs pin ?
If so,I have a couple of tips for you and I can give you my mobile number to talk you through it bud :)
Not easy but do-able if you know what I mean.
Take care mate.
Paul
ps....you also need a bracket which I made a spare.......pm me your addy and I can send it mate.

Very kind of you Paul! It's some dodgy DIY jobby using a universal FMIC. He says it's simple to just offer it up to the car and use the brackets he's provided. If I get stuck I may well need some advice! I'll wait for it and see what it's like first.

the worse bit is cutting away at your bumper but take your time and ull be fine i brought a pro alloy one and it was so easy to fit, yeah it was expensive but i dont mind paying more for the simplicity and the quality of the product

Pro alloy are the best in my opinion. If this one's no good I'll flog it on and buy a S/H Pro alloy. There's one up for sale at the moment on Fccuk but I can't justify £350 after splashing £400 on a hybrid. It's going to be a BEAST once that's fitted though, I'm hoping for 320 but will settle for anywhere over 300.

Check this out, mine's the Stage 3 (MD347):

Nice looking turbo
My fiat is now put away for the winter but in the summer, flea will be fitting a stage 3 turbo for me.He has already gave me a stage 3 map for my stage 1 turbo so it only requires the turbo and a bit of tweeking :)
Will have that baby (stage 1 turbo) for sale when I swap which I imagine will go rather quickly being good for just under 300 bhp.

Thanks Chris (y)
I only have 290 bhp and it is still frightening when booting so can't imagine what it will be like with the stage 3 turbo and 350 bhp.......that is going to be nuts
One thing I will say though.....the only reason 290 bhp is very handleable is due to the upgraded brakes, suspension, strut brace, tracking sorted etc.
Please don't try to go to 300 bhp on a very standard coupe without other upgrades.......it will be difficult to control.....and stop in a hurry :)
These cars were built for 220 bhp remember.....not over 350 bhp

Hi Spit,
I realise this is an older post I have just aquire a 20vt and I'm looking to fit rhe turbo revs fmic, just one question, does the kit come with all the relevant silicone pipes as the inlet manifold I measured is 70mm and it seams the rest of the pipe work is 60mm.

Regards

Skid
