Tuning advise on hks re-cerk dump valve for 20vt

Thats wright cris, sorry lads for the bad spelling. Still tho any ideas what its for?

I just think a 20vt with just a eshast, induction kit and dump valve[which ever one prefers] sounds so much better and diffrent to a standard 20vt!

But at the moment tho not for long, my 20vt is standard apart from chip. And i must say the sound of a standard one is unneak and brillent with the 5 cylinder 20v deep raw.

Im selling the dump valve, I dont like the sound as much as my baily dv26 Im sold with on my old 16vt.

Be good if i could do a swap deal with someone.

I should of bought a baily from the start.

DV26 + K&N cone filter = Darth vader snorting coke under your bonnet :D
I much prefer the Forge DV006 recirc after just swapping it for my DV26.
Still sounds good with the cone filter but not so much "in your face" if you know what I mean ?

To be honist I love the sound of my baily dv26.

The saying, If it aint broke dont fix it comes to mind.

I thought about buying one second hand but iv had second thoughts.

I hear they may leak after a perod of time and you wont know till you put it on your car.

What you think?

Cant rember how much they are brand new....

Iv put a baily dv26 on my xmas list, my girl said she would buy it me along with a pop out dvd player/stero.

Never that into ice but I have always wanted a pop out dvd player in my car. dosnt add any more weight that a normal stero and its a james bond gadjit as you wouldnt no it was there till you press the magic button.

Get a DV006 and fit a K&N cone / drilled airbox and K&N panel and it will still sound nice.
Car will run smoother on/off boost as well mate, promise ;)
Forge are expensive but well worth it IMHO.

Is there much diffrence in sound between the dv26 and 006?

Is the 006 a atmos like the dv26?

I have a K&N induction kit fitted with mine and it sounds very nice......not too loud and just right for me.
Much prefer this one to the last one I had fitted (DV26).
It is also less violent when you change gear due to it not venting to atmosphere if you know what I mean ?

Gives me something to think about, TBH i like the dv26.

Cant wait to get started on my project[lol]

I always drive a new car for a few months before starting on the project.

Oil, plug and air box replacment and see how she runs for a few 1000 miles.

Happy to say she hasnt skiped a beat since i bought her, been a couple of months but iv only covered 1100 miles since i got her.

I thought there wasnt much point of statring a new thread as this is about dump valves.

I was going to buy[new] a bailey dv26 like I did when I had my old 16vt.

As money is tight for me for the next few months i thought I would be second hand.

The bailey dv26 can leak because of the piston im told, so buying one of those second hand may not be a good idea.

So I was wondering what dump valve i could get second hand that is atmos and sound as close as the dv26 as possible.

im told that dump valve are diffrent and some cant leak because they dont have a piston?

If that is the case can someone please advise me on what dump valves dont leak and sound like my old dv26 so I can get one second hand.
