16v nt coop. Why does my coop not pull like it used to? The idle is a little shakey and am now just fed up...What with the shakes (other posts) and now this...Why did I ever buy a coop? They are nice though...Anybody got any ideas on the prob. Cold start sensor: cleaned. New plugs, new leads, used redex for injectors, I only use 99 octane fuel...One other thing, my air filter box does not fit properly (1 snaped screw) and seems to whistle slightly until I aply pressure to the box. Could this be the problem? is the engine drawing too much air? Also the engine runs very rich and I get around 300 miles to a full tank £55.00 (motorway driving) 4000rpm ish at about 80mph....Thanks in advance for any info

i had that prob changed the fuel filter and everything was good

ps does it have a knock sensor that might need looking at

Thanks, I have a fuel filter ready to go on. I will let you know how I get on. What is a knock sensor? Thanks again

yeah try the filter then put another injector cleaner in

a knock sensor makes sure the engine is firing proberly if not it ajusts the timing slightly to make it run smoother i know the turbo engines have them and most cars do now

Ok thanks, mine is a non turbo. Any ideas where I may find the sensor?

had a look on my coupe tech data disk the knock sensor is only on turbo versions

what i would do is get it on the rollers or on a fiat computer as i think it might be some sort of sensor its always something silly with fiats
