have seen a Fiat coupe 20v turbo on ebay which has got a lpg conversion, the owner says that it requires a new turbo, he has no paper work with the car and does not know if the cambelt has been changed. I just want to know is it worth buying as he wants £600 for it and would that lpg conversion possibly cause any problems. I knew somebody that had a Coupé with an LPG conversion. He had lots of problems with his engine, however he was always messing around with his engine and drove the car very hard. IMO i don't thnk they suit running on gas ( not hard anyway, possibly be fine low revs cruising). My head would tell you to walk away, you know it needs a turbo and without evidence you would need to put a cambelt on. So that's plenty of cash already but there could be more engine trouble that won't show until the turbo is done.
Having said all that it does look very nice and if it is close by i'd be tempted to take a look but please remember that a troublsome coupé is a money pit!

if it dont have the paperwork for the conversion it can be a problem with insurance companies

Old performance cars usually need a load of money spent on them, unless you are lucky..this one has potential to need a LOT of money..walk smartly in the other direction!

Even though it's very cheap I would personally hold out for a better example
