General what turbos?

Hi, I've just bought a blue N-Reg/'96 Fiat Coupe 16v 2L but how do you tell it has a turbo? I read somewhere that the turbo version had 16" alloys (which mine has) but I'm not convinced.

Is there something to look for under the hood or in the car interior? The car has a fairly wide exhaust and a big black pipe coming out of the engine (this is probably the air intake?)

No clue on tuning, any help/tips greatly appreciated, my first car. Love it.

unless they have been removed it will say '16V Turbo' on the door pillar's

You can't tell whether or not it's a turbo? fair do's!

Umm, when you put your foot down, is there a second or two or nothing then all hell breaks loose? that's the turbo kicking in! open the bonnet and check The cam cover looks like this

with the words 2000 16v TURBO on there. It should also have 16v turbo badges on the pillars.

So you can tell it has a turbo - because it says turbo on it! Why didn't I think of that!

Can the car be upgraded with a turbo? Any good tech-specs/FAQs on the 16v Fiat Coupe? It'd be interesting to see the top speed, 0-60 etc.
