Hey all. Looking for some advice.

Have had a bad creaking noise (on low speed, less than 5mph), when getting faster it turns into a grinding/scraping noise. Been recommended that it could be a cv joint. But there is play in the same wheel (passenger side) significantly more so than the drivers side. Would a cv joint cause this?

Could even be a bearing breaking up Ross.. CV is usually heard when putting strain on the joint by pulling steering hard over left or right whilst wheels are driven.

Yeah bridges. It was the bearing. There was play in it, and it was causing the bearing to touch the surround behind the wheel bearing, causing a creaking/scraping noise. Replaced the whole hub and its now sorted!! :D
