Welcome to the Cool Wall: Lets add more cars!

Following the 850 Spider how about the spiritual successor the Barchetta?

Left hand drive only.
Modular platform so mechanical parts are easy to get hold of.
Gorgeous styling, a fusion of modern and contemporary that actually works and has lasted.
Good specification.
The best of the 128 gen III's Fiat ever made.
More than a Punto HGT in a pretty dress the best convertible Top Gear drove across a desert.
The same designer went on to pen the Alfa Romeo 8C, Mito and 4C

How about the Mk2 Bravo?
It always seems to turn heads but for some reason never sold in big numbers it's definitely my mile muncher of choice comfortable & fast a great all rounder in my opinion

Sorry about replying to an old post, but I just saw one of these a few days ago and I've gotta say on approach I thought it was a GP! Never knew there was a similar branch for Bravos. Seems like a cross hatch/saloon GP to me! It was a weird colour too, I think I've seen people on this Forum define it as Rock'n'roll blue?

I'd love to see that up too, it sounds like an under-appreciated beauty.

Yeah you can definitely tell what family it's from I believe she's wider and longer than the GP she seems to be wider than most cars I've noticed! My guess is the bravo is aimed at the same market as the Ford Focus or similar larger than the average hatch but not an mpv and plenty of gadgets as standard

As for the colour mine is AZZURRO FIDATO 336B I haven't seen another in the flesh in this colour usually dark blue or red but I'm sure some of the "bravo enthusiasts" have got some in the same colour

Is my little Doblo fit for the cool wall ??

I would like to nominate the new 124

Super soft American spec' suspension makes for a great little grand tourer, even the Abarth is squishy by UK standards. That is a good thing, because the roads are terrible and we need to know we've hit a pot hole not need to see the dentist every time.
Great engine even though the note is a little muffled buy the turbo. Mazda RX8 six speed gearbox (as used in the MX5) so we know it's good for 231bhp as soon as the warranty runs out.
Styling is a bit throw back with a few modern twangs but that's what Fiat are all about these days. I prefer the base to the Abarth edition. What are those vents in the rear quarter of the bumper for.

So if you're undecided and thinking meh, maybe cool-ish perhaps; here's the clincher.

I can not fit comfortably in the car. So I will never own one and by virtue of that fact and Fiat Forum yard stickery just knowing if you ever see one on the road I won't be driving it makes the car Sub-Zero.

:D

As a modern day alternative to the drudgery made by Ford, GM and such it's a refreshing balance of style and utilitarianism. Most vans in this class is one or the other or trying too hard to be one or the other and coming up short.

Also by not trying to be cool the Doblo is kinda cool. There's no ST or VXR version for yobbos just get one if you want to get the job done. Mine reminded me of my Morris 6CWT in that way. Utilitarian now, cool later. :)
