Right guys and girls this is the place to arrange the convoy to Stanford

Right, I'm driving down from York on the morning..

I will be stopping at Woodall Services & Leicester Forest East Services en route.

Happy to meet anyone who's passing them on their way there, times to be confirmed when we got gate opening times.

Are we doing the same as Brooklands and meeting somewhere near and going intogether?

I live about 10-15 mils away from Stanford Hall anyway, but i'll happily meet near with a convoy and 'convoy' in together. I'm one of the ones up for going early to help set up aswell

If we have enough volunteers we'll probably do the convoy into Stanford We shall post up details when we have them

how long will it take to get from leicester east to stanford?? gates open at 8.30...

should take to long think about 15ish mins maybe :/

well i'm gonna aim to be at the services for 8 o'clock then. Which means leaving my house at 6am

Well according to Google maps its gonna take about an hour to get from Thrapston to Stanford, so wanna say 7, then that gives us time to get a good spot in the queue/meet everyone else at Leicster forest east services?

The times still look pretty good tbh, and I still rate Tesco as a meeting point. Thoughts?

The only thing with going to Tesco in Rugby is that you need to double back on yourself.

Stanford is right on the M6 / A14 / M1 interchange - so those coming down the A14 from say Thrapston should head to site and for those coming from the North via Leicester Forest probably won't want the 14 mile detour [i.e. down M6 to Rugby to come back on themselves...]

All depends if all the groups want to convoy in together - but there tends to be plenty of room at Stanford to move around, unlike Brooklands.

Just seperating out the Yorkshire Meeting point. Keeps the generic convoy less cluttered
