Cheapest Webhosting out there?

I'm looking for cheap webhosting.

for a small business i'm setting up. so it needs to be ssl enabled, as well as able to take at least one SQL database. and the potential to run a shopping cart.

and a decent amount of bandwidth and space...

anyone got any ideas?

i cant recommend www.mdwebhosting.com.au enough - been with them since the beginning and what i get for my 3.50 a month is silly ive seen some packages charging 20+ a month for it!

only problem is they're in australia, so sometimes latency can be a problem

They seem pretty damn good!

not really that bad tbh, but noticeable difference from UK/US servers

Costs a little extra for SSL, £50 to be exact.

Linux or Windows.

Also do MySQL and PHP.

hmm not so sure about them...

i'm looking at : www.bluehost.com $7 and thats with ssl php blah blah blah etc and everything...

Ive used this host for clients before and all i can say is EXCELLENT!!! Only had one hickup in 2 yrs so good reliablitly. For £50 / year, its a bargin. By far the best host I've ever used, and the only one ill use in future :slayer:

Not really, But i'd prefer unlimited knowing if it goes over I'm not going to get in trouble for hogging the bandwith.

IMO nothings less professional than having a site that one day says the webpage cant be displayed because the bandwidth has been exceeded - i dont like running the risk

I can't run the risk of having that dreaded webpage come up, so I think I'll go with Streamline.
